The maps are excellent, and apart from having a few frame drops on one, they don't kill performance (on my lower-end cheapo PC) The design looks quite a lot like Unreal. Gameplay-wise, the Pain Elemental is overpowered on the third map because of it's super-spacey nature and homing projectiles, but ...

Bit of a problem with the 'nades -- When you exit a map with more than 1 grenade charged, you will enter the next map with only one grenade charged, the others will have to recharge again.
(3 grenades is maximum you can buy for people who happen to not be Xaser)

You could make a "melee attack while wielding any other weapon" by just utilizing a quick fist attack akin to DN3D's quick kick. (Or have an actual quick kick if that's not too Brewtle Dewm-ish.)

The heat blast mod can't fire if you're out of ammo, even if it is charged; is this intentional?

Great work by the way, looking forward to the next update, ZScript is one hell of a new beast for me.
