Question regarding NPC movement
So this is going to sound like a strange question, but I was wondering if there are any scripts or drop in DECORATE/ZScript libraries out there that allow for smoother movement of characters using thing_setgoal and interpolation points. What I want to do is develop a map where the player can guide ...

TSilverwolf's project dump
Hi everyone, I'm posting a dump of all my project files because I've kind of pulled the last straw in trying to do stuff for the time being. I've been trying quite hard to make various projects happen but inevitably something goes belly up and I get frustrated and despondent or spend days (literal ...

Re: Healthbar for targeted monster
@T_Silverwolf It's part of a bigger system yet to be released. The hp/class name thing was just for testing purposes but should be easy to recreate. @amv2k9 That's a hella sweet looking hud man! Wow, nice. O_o I'm trying to do something vaguely similar (though not a point and click style thing) I ...

Re: Memoirs of Magic
Oh wow,
I've been watching this for a while now and you really continue to impress with your art and ideas. I wish I had the time and ability, I'd offer to help, but I'm very eagerly waiting to see what you'll produce. Great job and if I can be of any moral support capacity, please let me know.

Re: Healthbar for targeted monster
There are at least a couple of ways you can do it. Not sure whether an ACS loop with SETACTIVATORTOTARGET and a class check or a custom hitscan attack like I'm using here (to be able to angle it) is the most performance-efficient. http://i.imgur.com/hdyWhTJs.png I'd actually be quite interested in ...

Re: Post you computer specs.
Only because I'm finally happy with a machine I own. . . I plan to upgrade it in a couple months because most of the hardware is similarly sized and has been shown to work from one model to the next, but this what I currently have: Dell Precision M6400 Laptop Core 2 Extreme Q9300 Quad core 2.53 ghz ...

I got a workstation laptop finally! The first of many abuses of the Quadro >_> your quadro is as good as any normal nshitia gpu in cases where the drivers aren't specifically made for the programs in question which i would very much guess would include just about any tool in something niche and non ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
More progress on my Shadowrun module, I'm building the hub area and where a lot of the missions will take place so it's kind of big and will probably expand a little more on the X axis. The 4 lane highway bit is going to be the market place area, the west will likely be apartment buildings and such ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I've heard Bayonetta is pretty damn amazing, though I've never played it. As for what I last did. . . I've been working on my Shadowrun module some more after I do my daily writing. This is about a third of the area I'm trying to make, but it's what happens after the other area, leading on to a kind ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I'm working on a Shadowrun module for Shadowrun Hong Kong and while I'm still learning (the really easy) editor, I've made my first scene with skill checks, dialogues and conversations. I'm pretty stoked.

Re: Explain Your Avatar
This is actually the avatar I use for everything, based on a younger me (circa like 94) that wanted to be an elf for no particular reason. I got involved in rpgs, and reading much more around that time and ever since then I've always had the idea of the Tammy-Half-Elf in the back of my brain. All ...
