conveyer system

First, let me say I have the flu, and I feel like death (slightly) warmed over, so that's probably why I can't think...But I've only used the scroling/wind/push force twice...Once to make a flowing river to sweep the player away, and the other was to simulate a moving boat ride, whee everything ...

Wow...Enjay!

Hey...Enjay.

Oh well...I figured that was the case. I think I asked for the same thing a few years ago for H-L zdoom.

Thank you.

no...A wall texture.

I meant a wall NEXT to a sloped floor.
I know how to rotate flats, believe me.

A question about textures.

Hey, is there a way to rotate a wall texture? When I used sloped sectors, the un-tilted textures on the walls look odd...And I want to make a teeter-totter effect with a texture, but I don't want to use 15 animated images. ...Is there a script that can do that? This is the project it's for: http ...

...Um....

What..?

Oh! The demo you were asking about.
No, there is no align sector demo out there. There's a wad that rotates a sector, but not what your looking for
Sorry.

Sorry, I don't have a demo, and my wad is 17 MB, so that's not very convenient. It worked! After fooling with the alignment for about an hour. The piece of script looks like this: script Sector_SetRotation (6, 31, 31); Sector_SetFloorPanning (6, 215, 0, 195, 0) Heres before the rotation... http ...

I tried Line_AlignFloor, but I didn't think that would do it. I'll try SetFloorPanning. that sounds like it'll work.

Thanks.

aligning a floor texture

I 've been editing DOOM for years, but this is my first attempt at aligning a floor texture. I tried rotating it, but I need to move it to the left and right as well. Normally, I just use plain textures on angled sectors, but here I need an oriental rug in an oddly tilted sector. I can't figure it ...

Thanks.

Most of the art for the project came from the web, and some I made from scratch. I haven't been to Disneyland for decades. Luckily, there's a lot of fans of the H M who have taken pictures and posted 'em on line.

OK..No more dumb "wall-push" sound! He he. There IS a way to read all the console messages, isn't there? I'll have to look in the instructions that come with zdoom. It goes by so quick, and opening the console only gives you the last 5 or 6 messages, as you know. I just looked in my wad, and I see ...

Damn sendspace..It's really slow. Ok, here's the same file from my page. I can't promise it'll go any faster, but it shouldn't kick you off. Next time I post a link, it'll be on a decent server, I swear. Part of the reason it's taking so long, is that the file is 14MB zipped. (And, that's only %20 ...

Wow...You learn somthin' new every day! I tend to skip ahead when I'm teaching myself things, to get to the goal quicker, but there's a lot of stuff I miss by doing that. I'm trading a quick victory for a sure footing, as the saying goes. Thanks, everyone. ...That's a cool t-shirt, hotwax. You look ...

I wish I could help you...But scripting isn't my strong point.

What kind of sky are we talking about? A texture, or a skybox?

I might be able to help you with that.

..A bad thing

No, I didn't mean it that way, believe me.

I just picked the best DOOMers I could think of.
...the name dropper that I am.

And, yes, the 2 sectors have different light values. I never would have thought of that.
Thank you.

I'm a guru..But, your a GOD!

Truly. No B.S.

The Govinator

Here's a link to the game file, but it's only %20 done, so don't expect much. http://www.sendspace.com/file/rjf94t I'm a great artist when it comes to textures and sprites, but gameplay and stuff like that fall short.(SOB!) Still, if you want a good laugh, try ALL my (unfinished) mods; Dr Doom Z ...
