I'd be cool if the stalker doesn't do anything but follow you, and then you head into a 'sub-boss' fight where you can't hurt the boss, but only the stalker can kill it (or even make it vulnerable to your fire) -- think of the last boss in Super Metroid

I don't know, other than the usefulness of having everything on the screen at once, I like the AltHud mostly for the display of all of the inventory items, instead of like Hexen or Strife. It would be cool to have an optional AltHud in Zdoom too, even if its different.

The only thing I missed there was the #include, but it still didn't work. I ditched the script and tried the Decorate flag you mentioned.. and it did work! very useful. thnx NJ for your time

the PLAY marine sprites are the default player sprites (not modified in any way) and this actor uses them.

Ok I just tried zdoom -file d_runnin and it loaded up fine except the music just sounded like static. I think its a problem with the format I tracked the .it with the channels and stuff; not zdoom I'm just starting my third track so I'm going to experiment with different formats (like .MOD) and see ...
