Surely you're talking about cooperative mode, since the level is actually pretty tame on single player. Indeed, Heck has possibly the most ridiculous start I have ever seen, and is a heavy contender with Plutonia MAP22's blue key room as the most unfair cooperative room of all time. Still, an hour ...

Just give the program a source port and IWAD to use, then place your parameters (-host 2 -warp 01) into the Extra Command-line Arguments box and click launch. ZDoom should wait for players to join at the console.

EDIT: What was previously at this post had nothing to do with it. As I understand it, you're attempting to use the console as a command line, which cannot be done. You must use something like Run in the start menu or a launcher like ZDL to specify a command line which looks like this: C:\<path to ...

Cooperative is automatically chosen as the game mode if -deathmatch isn't specified. There is no -cooperative, so what you have above is correct.
