a thread (I would think this one :P) relating to the updating. Recent changes page . There's no need for a thread. If you really want to place to discuss changes, edit the user's talk page and ask them there or decide on another discussion page on the wiki. There is nothing to this idea that can't ...

One thing is for certain, we need some way to upload screenshots to the WIKI. This can already be done (in fact, I haven't come across a wiki that didn't allow you to upload screenshots yet). Special:Upload should allow you to upload images and even other types of files to the wiki; the link is ...

Grammar.

If you're going to rant about embarrassing, frequent (online, at least) spelling errors, at least make sure your own post is free of them.

Ok, after playing Post Mortem (HR MAP24) I've decided that is definitely what inspired Dark Dome (AV MAP25, or was it 26?) and whatever KS MAP28 is called. It's MAP26. KS28 is Hard Target. Oh, and I thought Misri Halek was a good idea, but it was too confusing for that all too crucial first run ...

Some of AV sucked. In some levels, I felt like they were saying, "Let's see how many monsters we can put in this map and hope it'll make the gameplay good!" Meh, I find nothing wrong with any of the later maps in AV. Some of the ones that really do what you say (18, 26 and maybe 29) are some of the ...

It's all about Mt. Pain (if that's what it's called) that level must rock, because I can actually remember it. ;) I remember Mount Pain all too well, but just because it's an absolutely terrible level. If not for the completely appalling MAP20: Central Processing (yay for ripping off UDoom map ...

Yes I exaggerated the time, but I'm sure I took longer than 10:00 (including the time lost from dying and restarting). Okay, I lied. I just tried what you said (single-player co-op) and killed every monster except for the four cybers in the pits in exactly 12:00. By the end, I had about 60 bullets ...

Surely you're talking about cooperative mode, since the level is actually pretty tame on single player. Indeed, Heck has possibly the most ridiculous start I have ever seen, and is a heavy contender with Plutonia MAP22's blue key room as the most unfair cooperative room of all time. Still, an hour ...

1) IIRC, friendly monsters will not attack each other, even though hitscanners can accidentally shoot and possibly kill each other. The exception is if one of your friends accidentally hurts you, in which case the other friendly monsters will turn on it. EDIT: Actually, I just retested this, and I ...

Just give the program a source port and IWAD to use, then place your parameters (-host 2 -warp 01) into the Extra Command-line Arguments box and click launch. ZDoom should wait for players to join at the console.

EDIT: What was previously at this post had nothing to do with it. As I understand it, you're attempting to use the console as a command line, which cannot be done. You must use something like Run in the start menu or a launcher like ZDL to specify a command line which looks like this: C:\<path to ...

Cooperative is automatically chosen as the game mode if -deathmatch isn't specified. There is no -cooperative, so what you have above is correct. It would also be good to add a -skill parameter (as I believe it defaults to 3). There are further options like +dmflags, +compatflags, and -record, along ...

Note the in vanilla. MAPINFO is a ZDoom-only lump that does not affect other source ports or the original EXE. In fact, I did not know earlier that ZDoom allowed the monsters to telefrag on any map, which is why I was wrong in my previous post.

In the version 2.1 I have (works in 96x only) the BFG11000 is set to Slot 8, and I had no problems switching to it. Therefore, unless it was changed in the newer 2.1 release for some bizarre reason, it is an old bug.
