Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

Nine years to go until he hits 100. And if he's got his health at 91, all the better. My great grandma was little under a year from 100 when she died. Her only problem was failing eyesight. Otherwise she was doing well. As for what I last did, I spent tuesday and wednesday clocking up a little over ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread

Even in the cold, frigid (not), place that Scotland is, I sometimes need to wear sunglasses. I even got issued a pretty naff pair for work. But I don't wear glasses myself, which I'm thankful for considering everyone in my immediate family has had them from a younger age. As for what I've just done ...

Re: How Do I Edit Monsters And Weapons?

Easier than that. Download the .DLL and stick it in the SLumpED folder. That should do the trick.

Re: How Do I Edit Monsters And Weapons?

Guys, learn to use less jargon when dealing with newbies. We don't all have several years experience in Doom editing. The least you can do is make it clear to them. SlumpED would be the choice utility for making DECORATE monsters and weapons. You might find some tutorials in the ZDoom wiki. If not ...

Re: When Will You (Makers Of ZDoom) If Ever, Make Another ZDoom?

Once you've downloaded the newest version, extract it to the folder you already have ZDoom installed in. Overwrite the files when asked to do so and voila! Your version of ZDoom is now up-to-date. :) Once you have it extracted, make sure you have your Iwads (Doom2.wad, Doom.wad etc) in the ZDoom ...

Those "minimum" specs are dumb. I'm referring back to the ones posted a few pages back, not yours Graf.

I managed to run this wad on a 1GHz Celeron, with 128MB RAM and onboard graphics, nothing fancy. It ran not too badly either. It was playable to say the least. :p

Have IQs dropped since I was last in this neck of the woods? Or did someone just let a donkey in here? C00ld00d he is not though. Despite having an IQ on par with torq, he at least has the sense to listen to others and shut up. It's a long story and this is the wrong place for it, but let's just say ...

This sort of stuff existed? Cool. :) I think the last time I ever saw a similar feature was Legacy's "predicting monsters" special, although it didn't do much more than cause monsters to throw fireballs into your path when you were moving about rather than straight at you. But nothing about avoiding ...

It's the sequel to HTI. ( Hell's Twisted Influence) A pair of maps I made inspired by Torment and Torture. You'll know what I meant by the 'deja vu' thing when you play the first one. HTI2 was also the WAD to make use of the TITLEMAP feature, seeing how the new ZDoom build which included it was ...

I lol'd when I heard the marine say "Deja vu!" in episode 4 level 2. So I got a cameo of sorts afterall. You forgot the big hole and cellar area. :p I didn't think to try checking the grave stones either. I'll have to do it later. :) By the way, the 'edge of chaos' section was very similar to what I ...
