Re: Hey, getting back into editing a bit looking for some help

I guess it has been a long time since I last made anything for ZDoom... I made the single stupidest mistake I have ever done. I was using Doom Builder 2 to edit external scripts(the library) saved them to a directory, and hit compile. Everything was going smooth. Turns out when you hit compile it ...

Hey, getting back into editing a bit looking for some help

Well I decided to get back into editing for the time being. Well I've decided first thing I'm going to do to brush my skills off was to create a simple system of getting money for killing monsters, display them on screen and use said money to buy weapons. Seemed simple enough in theory, and now that ...

Re: IT HAS OFFICALLY BEGUN! (D3wepMod) PAGE 14

So I went through the thread with no mention of credit to me. Since I provided a base of DECORATE source, I expected myself to be credited. Especially when przndoom contacted me a few months back asking for permission and I said yes only if credited. I can obviously tell it is my source code for ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on

not nessecarily, he could have designed the levels to appear upside down, and made the monster on the ceiling to appear as on the floor, as I don't think the camera can actually view things upside down. So I'm going to say the player is on the floor which looks like a ceiling, and vice versa for the ...

So far I've got this http://i23.tinypic.com/2h2iem0.jpg I know, not a very flattering shot, but mind you this is with god knows how many programs open, and inside the editor itself. I love the way AI is done in Crysis, much better than ACS and having them go to checkpoints. They use Flow Graphs ...

Currently I'm working on figuring out the sandbox editor for Crysis... it is a real pain in the butt, but I didn't use the far cry one too much, it does look like a similar interface.

add +WINDTHRUST to your actor(in DECORATE), and then set the Sector's wind accordingly(I'm not 100% sure how to set the wind off the top of my head, but I believe in doom Builder it is a Sector action. This method worked for me when I had to create a conveyor belt of infinately spawning barrels.

do you have A_GunFlash as an action in your Fire states? I believe A_FireCGun called it automatically.

After a little investigation, when OpenGL is selected, vid_renderer = 1, software mode vid_renderer = 0. After that it should be a simple if case. if(GetCVar("vid_renderer") == 1) { //OpenGL Stuff } else { //Software Renderer Stuff } Atleast I think that's how it goes, I'm a little rusty on my ACS
