Yup, I've learned a lot these past few days messing around with stuff and got it working. (Absolutely was not the newest LZDoom)
I just downloaded a slightly older build of GZDoom and it started running, something funky with the original zip i suppose.

I didn't see that script error earlier, probably you edited your post. When you get an error you need a more modern version of the engine. That said i've downloaded version 7.1 of the mod and according to the text file included in the zip it requires GZDoom 4.8.0 so it will run with latest LZDoom (actually i've tried and it runs). I don't know your hardware but if it doesn't run you should select softpoly at startup (you can find lzdoom 4.11.4 on the engines forum or github).

But have you tried the newest LZDoom (4.11.4)? Probably it needs a modern gzdoom version but i'm not sure. That report is not very useful, what errors do you get in the console? Also you could try ZZDoom 2.9.0 may be with the -nozscript parameter (i don't even remember if that mod requires zscript). Those are in the game engines forum.
Those older engines you mention don't support vulkan nor zscript BTW. Y wenas.

Desperately trying to run ZMC Brutal Wolfenstein. (https://www.moddb.com/mods/brutal-wolfe ... nstein-v70) I've tried across Zandronium, ZDoom and LZDoom which was the only port to run it, still with heavy texture issues.

"Script error, "ZMC-BWV7.0.pk3:actors/weaps/defaultweapon.txt" line 249:
Invalid state parameter a_setsize" is what it tells me across the source ports, but the bigger problem is.

I cannot get the newest version of GZDoom to launch for the life of me, despite moving it to it's own isolated folder, in a non OneDrive directory, and with the latest DevBuild, it just wont launch so i've linked the bug report.
