As of Oct 05 devbuild (g4.3pre-216-gace677b8a), VGM will sometimes fail to play at all. The results of testing are apparently random, and the outcome changes on me by doing nothing except restarting GZDoom, so I am unable to identify any contributing factors.
This issue was not present in Oct 3 devbuild (g4.3pre-211-g1d9b5cb23). Testing with Oct 4 devbuild (g4.3pre-213-g9332316c2) was inconclusive.
