You're right, I now have to put in "Vid_adapter 2" rather than "vid_adapter 0".

Appreciate the clarification, now it's on the monitor I want it on again. :)

I've been told the way this command works has been changed; enter vid_listadapters from the console to see a list of which numbers correspond to which displays.

[4.1.3] vid_adapter command no longer switches monitors

I've had to do this with previous versions of GZDoom (Last version I used was 3.6.0). But I just updated to the current version of GZDoom at the time of this post, and trying to use the same command as before to switch GZDoom to the correct monitor, it will not do so this time. Specifically I put in the command "vid_adapter 0" and then restart the game. previous versions would allow this, but this version doesn't seem to. I don't know if this is a bug or if the command was changed, but I see nothing to suggest the latter.

I've even looked at it in the ini file and it actually did change it to "vid_adapter 0" however it remains on the same monitor.

I should also add the previous versions of GZDoom remain on the correct monitor.
