I don't think I can demonstrate this in a demo.
Gzdoom version g4.1.3 SDL version. Operating system Ubuntu 18.04, Linux kernel 4.15.0-51-generic
How to reproduce:
1. Open Gzdoom version g4.1.3, choose an IWAD.
2. In Options > Display Options > Hardware renderer > Stereo 3D VR, set the 3D mode to Red/Cyan.
3. Start a new game.
4. Hit ESC to open the menu. Observe that game does not pause. (You can observe this by walking forward and hitting ESC and observing Doomguy still moving on inertia for a brief time, or pausing whilst in front of an enemy, who will continue walking around and attacking you.)
