No, it doesn't. This was removed when the non-shader version was removed. The feature is now always on, except for OpenGL 2 hardware.

I don't get an error, just the cvar doesn't exist. It's listed in the ZDoom wiki but apparently it doesn't seem to exist anymore in GZDoom.

Can you please give a bit more info?
gl_dynlight_shader is a CVAR from some very old GZDoom version that only controlled what method was used to render dynamic lights. What kind of error do you get?

It seems that gl_dynlight_shader is missing, so notable WADs like Unloved cannot be played as they were really intended. Was it removed or was it renamed to something else?
