Brutal Doom V21 Beta - Reload animations not working?

Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

If anyone else is having this problem, binding "take turboreload" to a key and pressing it whenever your reload animations bug out is the best solution I can find.

Brutal Doom V21 Beta - Reload animations not working?

Hello.

Brutal Doom V21 Beta has recently been released, but I am having some strange problems.

When I try to reload my gun, no reload animation plays and the bullets instantly refill my clip regardless of what settings I have in the BD options menu.

Also, at the start of a level BDv21 beta has this effect where the screen starts all black, and the players view gradually fades in. For me however the black sprite that is supposed to fade away covers only about 25% of my screen which looks super awkward.(less of an issue)

Oddly enough, changing the scale factor in the video settings to the lowest it can go briefly fixed these issues(while looking like SNES Doom), but even that isn't working anymore.

I don't know how, but believe something with my resolution(?) may be causing these problems. I use a TV as my screen, and I use the NVIDIA control panel to resize the screen to fit the TV....Why that would effect the reloading mechanics of BD I have no idea but the only time I have seen it work for a few minutes was after changing resolution options on my PC and in GZdoom itself.

I know the mod was released only hours ago, but does anyone have any idea why these things would happen? I really enjoy the ammo clip/reloading mechanic of BD.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
