Or the Exquisite Corpse map from 2004.

So how would you guys feel about this idea?

Hey, so I’m thinking about making a public map project, but I’m posting it here first to see if you guys are interested.

Basically, I want to have the community make a map, but instead of the normal 1 map per person sort of thing, I’m talking everyone works together, on one map. The purpose of this would be to see how people could put a bunch of different ideas and styles to make one end product.
It wouldn’t have to follow a theme, either. You could go from one creator who likes a medieval theme, and then stepping out of that room in to outer space. You’d be able to put whatever you like, without having to go through the effort of making an entire map yourself. I feel like this could create a pretty cool end product, although it also might fail horribly, so I just want to see if this would be something everyone is interested in. If the idea gets some traction, maybe I’ll put a thread in the levels subforum.

It would have some rules, of course, but let's worry about that later.
