More like potassium chloride, sodium chloride and calcium iodide all being salts I suspect.

There's really not a plural at all. It's kinda like salt. You can either have some salt, or you can have more salt. You really can't have "salts", unless you're talking about different varieties or something.
like "sea salts"?

More like PSP5. That's the best version for sprite making, as it's simple enough yet doesn't eat up memory like the later version.
I think it was PSP 5 that had a nasty bug. If you did some editing, selected something, then did something else, then pressed the undo button twice it could crash. This happened if you pressed undo a second time before the animated selection lines had started animating properly. I know it sounds like something you wouldn't do very often, but I was always getting PSP to crash this way.

However, PSP 5 did seem to have better memory handling. Quite often with version 6 upwards, you get out of memory errors if you have more than one instance of PSP open and want to copy and paste between the two. This method is very useful if you are working on modifying a sprite with loads of frames and want to browse 2 directories at the same time. Have 2 copies of PSP open - each one browsing a different directory - open a picture, copy an area from it, switch to the other copy of PSP, open the picture you are going to paste onto, paste, rinse and repeat. However, sooner of later this method gives an error with later versions.

PSP8's great, if you have a good computer.

Takes 3-5 minutes to load on a 96MB of RAM Celeron. :\

PSP6 > *, but PSP6 = hard to find. And I kinda like PSP8's improved PSD format support.

Or slip a little money to someone else to do it for you.

Agent ME is at your service:
$25: Check that your desktop icons are placed normally.
$50: Might check for a simple virus. NO REFUNDS!
$100: Replaces 3 of your desktop icons' graphics with a cute smiley face.
$233: Runs a pirated 1997 Virus Checker on your computer. Does not remove viruses; just tells you that you have none or at least one virus.
$666: Same as above but with the 1998 Revised Version. And this time pirated from a grocery store, telling you the number of viruses you have.
$50,000: Re-Formats your hard-drive, getting rid of everything, including the virus (The forerunner did this to themselves to attempt to kill the flood, so I'm just assuming they were successful and copying their method).
$100,000: All of the above, with a free bobble-head for the top of your car's antennae.
