You need to wait for the next build, actually.

Well, zdoom-2.8pre-1613-gb587c85 doesn't fix it, the crash is still happening. :/

It was accidentally only committed to the scripting branch.

Which commit fixes this? I can't find anything related in the rheit/zdoom repository.

Fixed.

To be honest, I never considered the case that there could be no sector tags at all in a map...

I see. My apologies.

Last working snapshot:
zdoom-2.8pre-1424-g6326cd7

First problematic snapshot:
zdoom-2.8pre-1427-gcad2821

Those revision numbers are pretty much useless. Please post the hash, because that can be used to find the offending revision.

It seems ZDoom versions after April 19, 2015 crash with the first map of the first episode of Laz Rojas' "WolfenDoom: The Original Missions" (original.wad). When trying to load the level, ZDoom crashes directly to desktop.

The problem must have been introduced between r1424 and r1427 since r1424 is the last release that works without issues.
