Using the term "app" doesn't help to specify what operating system you're using. It sounds like it could be Windows, Mac or Linux.
Anyways, that's more along the lines of "Don't Do That", since I'm sure ZDoom is still looking for an IWAD, and it's treating Doom2.wad as a PWAD. Try placing the IWADs in the same directly as ZDoom and just launch ZDoom normally (no click and dragging)?
