It seems so. I downloaded ZDoom r2238 and now it loads ok. :)
Then I will also wait for a new GZDoom release that will included the fixes.

Though I still have a long way to go with zshare, with that crash report, I feel it's fairly safe to say that the problem is the same as this one. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Then here a crash report using r2234

(I can also create a crash report for GZDoom if you need to.)

Remember last working version (that load ok the game) was ZDoom r2200 and GZDoom r745. Whatever changes are made to ZDoom and thus to GZDoom cause this startup crash.

Tell me if you need any additional info from me to help you spot the bug.

Note: I would suggest you to use JDownloader to get the files from zshare.

It's not the .7z file that really matters, it's the (hidden) .map.gz file that's important. It allows to translate the addresses given by the crash report into the part of the source code that was compiled into the code at that address. Roughly.

Maybe revisions should linger around on the SVN server.

zdoom-r2204.7z (I got it from http://svn.drdteam.org/zdoom/)
http://www.sendspace.com/file/12kqv7

And I saved a second crash report, just in case.

Ugh. Revision 2204 is already gone from DRDTeam's SVN site, so I can't use your crash report, and zshare is really slow, so it will be a few hours to download these files and try and reproduce the crash myself.

RDoom needs RDDR and doom2.wad

The doom2.wad should be put in RDoom\System\

What's RDoom?
What's RDDR?

Sorry, but you have to post some links to these WADs. I can't hunt down each and every file that's needed to reproduce an error.

I'm trying to play RDoom 3.2 (includes RDDR 1.6). I know this huge mod needs OpenGL, thus it needs GZDoom. The crash bug that I will describe affects both ZDoom and GZDoom. Thus I report it in ZDoom topic.

RDoom loads ok with ZDoom r2200 and GZDoom r745. Of course in ZDoom there are graphic glitches, like missing models etc., but this is expected.

RDoom crashes at startup when using ZDoom r2204 and GZDoom r746 or newer builds.

I have saved a crash report using ZDoom r2204.
