There's an alt-hud option to show system time on the top right corner of the screen.
Despite this though, it'd be nice to also see it on the automap, but so all bases are covered ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Adding a system time readout is so trivial to do, both as a mod (ZScript only) but also not much work at all to add natively in-engine to the automap. I'll probably take a look at it some time (optional feature that's initially turned off, of course)

(I don't understand why this thread has 4 pages worth of posts for something that essentially could be added into the engine with 10 minutes worth of coding LMAO)

(Also holy crap, this thread is 19 years old. I might win an award for "longest time taken for a feature request to be fulfilled" award here ;))

Running it in a window is the only way to fix that.

Idk, when i Alt Tab, GZDoom just stays at the top of the screen, I can't see anything but DOOM so, is there a way to fix that?

As well as Thanksgiving, Halloween, Independance Day, Valentine's day, Easter and St. Patrick's day if I'm not mistaken.

However, those were made using the source code itself, not any sort of scripting language. The newest version has Easter Eggs to find during Easter and some other holiday-related stuff, but it still doesn't use the .wad file to do this, just the engine itself.

For WWE, I'm using 10 minutes as an hour. That makes a day 240 minutes. Which is, in my opinion, a good balance between realisim and irritation.

DoomRater: Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal. It had a real-time clock in it that determined what events happened while you were playing. It was a bit of a silly gimmick in my opinion.

I need to play it again.

True, but there are many other reasons why I turfed that game a long time ago.

Is that accurate? I remember it being faster than that...
