Oh, that was a bug? That would make a lot of sense heh.

Fixed. It was only used for strafing.

Sarge, I don't think you mean that changes in the sensitivity work fine, do you? For me it seems to be stuck at 1 and I can make all the changes I need with m_yaw, etc.

mouse_sensitivity 1000, heheee. :)

Edit: for me, m_yaw 1.2 and m_pitch 1.2 feel pretty good for the standard fov90 view.

At some point the mouse sensitivity got a lot weaker so I boosted everything to mouse_sensitivity 1000 m_yaw 15 and m_pitch 15 and it works just fine.

Don't know why I didn't notice this before unless it's because I haven't used a zoom alias for a while, and the alias includes changes in mouse sensitivity. With 57.cab, and testing back to 52.cab, I don't find the overall mouse sensitivity slider working and don't find aliases which call a change in mouse_sensitivity working. You can query (in console) the current value for mouse_sensitivity and can see it changing, but the mouse feel does not change.

m_pitch and m_yaw seem ok, sliders and aliases.

I also note that some or all sliders won't set a value under 0.5, m_forward for example. However, m_forward will readily take a lower or zero setting from the console.

Tested the same on two machines, both Win98.
