(Software) Fuzz or Shadow Voxels are rendered as Normal

Forum rules
Please construct and post a simple demo whenever possible for all bug reports. Please provide links to everything.

If you can include a wad demonstrating the problem, please do so. Bug reports that include fully-constructed demos have a much better chance of being investigated in a timely manner than those that don't.

Please make a new topic for every bug. Don't combine multiple bugs into a single topic. Thanks!

I moved it for you. Don't expect anythin to come out of it, though, the software renderer has been unmaintained for several years now and that's not going to change.

That's probably because the software renderer is provided "as-is" with no expectations that it will see further work, especially on the voxel code which contains Black Magic from the Build engine.

(Software) Fuzz or Shadow Voxels are rendered as Normal

Software:
GZDoom 4.11.1 x64
Win10 Professional with latest updates on 25 NOV 2023
AMD Software: Adrenain Edition v2022.1130.1413.1936

Hardware:
Laptop ASUS ROG Strix GL702ZC-GC189R (90NB0FV1-M02740) Black
AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (3.0 - 3.7 GHz)
RAM 24 GB
AMD Radeon RX 580, 4 GB
(please tell what other details you need about hardware, for example I'm using external 32 inch 2k monitor, but gzdoom is in windowed mode with 1280x960 resolution)

Mods:
https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... JUXXoGjzSk

Steps:
1) Run GZDoom with testmod:
gzdoom.exe -config gzdoom-testmod.ini -iwad DOOM2.WAD -file testmod.pk3 +set sv_cheats 1
2) Select render mode "doom software renderer"
(I used vulkan api, but reproduced for any api)
3) restart gzdoom if required
4) enter any map
5) type "summon supershotgun" in console

Actual result: Renderstyle of super shotgun pickup is Normal

Expected result: Renderstyle of super shotgun pickup should be Fuzz (or Shadow if you change to Shadow in testmod)

NOTE: Reproduced for all renderstyles, except shaded and addshaded

NOTE2: Same mod will work correctly in ZDoom 2.8.1 (for Fuzz)

NOTE3: link to testmod: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... JUXXoGjzSk

NOTE4: my gzdoom INI config file: https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... 97j4h9jk87

P.S. I don't see "New Topic" link in "software renderer" section, so could you please move this bug there
