VM abort with 'out' variable

If you can include a wad demonstrating the problem, please do so. Bug reports that include fully-constructed demos have a much better chance of being investigated in a timely manner than those that don't.

Run in Doom 2, fire to wake up the Zombiemen. VM abort.

I am trying to assign a variable using a static function, while passing said variable to the function using 'out'.
