It's a known problem, it crashes inside the intel OpenGL driver. I guess 3.6.0 also crashed for you and even 3.5.0.
You could use LZDoom it's still pretty recent (it's ahead 3.6.0) and i still could update it to 3.7x i don't know for sure right now.
I can't think of a better solution.
