I always play with uncapped frame rate, vsync off. Turning on vsync causes diagonal screen tearing, thanks to NVidia's ineptitude with drivers... Still, I'll try toggling it next time I'm at my desk and report back if anything changes. I always play in Windowed mode, so I'll try toggling fullscreen to see if anything changes. Everything in ZDoom (or G or Q) is affected, whether I'm playing the game or just in the menus at the title screen, or anywhere else. Nothing else on the computer is affected.
I've just had a chance to check, and there was no difference whether I played fullscreen or windowed, with or without vsync.
