The difference between a sprite and a texture (in general) is that textures are typically painted onto 3D surfaces (walls, floors, gun models, etc), while sprites are typically billboarded (that means drawn directly to the screen with no concern for viewing angle) to represent a character in the game. Sprites also tend to define an entire character, including all the frames that make up various steps of animation and/or viewing angles of said character, whereas a texture is typically a single image.

With Doom in particular, a sprite is given an offset while a texture is not. Plus, a texture is actually a collection of patches. And...... stuff.

i said textures, but sprites are also textures. but if you really need it to be show, i will add it. This will be more specific. :wink:

i think the sprite would look much better if you would darken more the helm and the visor much more radiant blue

The Ultra Imp is from DukeNukem 3D Plutonium Pack.

i've released the beta test of ZXDoom port for ZD3K, its still beta test and the version available is crashing if you do not set the language value to "fr".

this is strange. switching to "fr" do not work for you.
most computer i've tested in different place worked fine with the french language.
I'm develloping the game in french because i'm a french speaker. The english version should work, but 1 string is missing...
i'm still checking lines per lines alls of these string.

And the Auto-raulgun is ripped from Twice Risen. I'm sure he's well aware that he didn't create a lot of the resources used.

The credits do need to be updated to reflect this, however.

It has music similar/the same as a Nintendo Game i have! Was it ripped from that game, or is there a copy of it floating around on the internet?

yes, but it is not as the same view of the model. it still 2d model.

i'm not the original author of this sprite, but i've improved it a little for frame sequence. I remember i taken it from SkullTag.

Other than the face which was presumably recolored and super-imposed over the image, that's the head and shoulders of the Q3 Doom model.
