http://zdoom.org/wiki/Custom_CVARs_with_DECORATE
This took me some time to figure out, so I thought I would write my findings down for other people who are also fairly new to ZDoom ACS. While it actually ended up being quite a simple process, the information I needed to find was scattered across several different pages, so it was a bit tough to get all the pieces together.
As this is my first real contribution to the ZDoom wiki, I'd appreciate knowing if it was helpful or if there is something unclear. I see Gez is on the ball and has already tidied it up a bit; much appreciated. I was also going to provide a download, but I'm not sure what the protocol is for that - is a mediafire link OK?

Yes, that's very helpful, thanks!

Lack of permanency is a handicap. Attach it to the opening post in this thread, and then you can link back from the wiki page to this thread.plums wrote:I was also going to provide a download, but I'm not sure what the protocol is for that - is a mediafire link OK?

This looks to be useful, thank you.

Yeah, I was hoping for something more permanent. Thanks for the tip.Gez wrote:Lack of permanency is a handicap. Attach it to the opening post in this thread, and then you can link back from the wiki page to this thread.
TheMightyHeracross, zrrion the insect: thanks!
edit: OK, call me dumb, but I can't save the wiki page with a forum link because I don't see where to confirm on the "select all the cat photos" captcha, after clicking the cat pics. Clicking "Save page" just brings the page up again still with a captcha and I don't see any other confirm-type buttons....
edit2: thanks again Gez!
