This is my first 3d to sprite conversion attempt to be made (it took plenty of hours [about 400 frames today {but not as tedious as sprites w/ blended colors}]). The entire actor is not even completed yet. The 3d tools requires the use of video adapters (mines aint updated/good for versatile use). I have to use the touchpad for accurate alignment and less frustration (touchpad helps for these situations).
Enough complaints from me.
I am making Glest monsters available for Zdoom. There might be also custom Glest monsters too (filename then needs to be changed). How many objects (including buildings, projectiles, trees, statues, rocks, etc) to be available is most likely a dismal number (I don't expect myself to continue constant), but here is the WIP anyways.
+Stuff for show-and-tell:
-[WIP] Behemoth as cyberdemon substitute (will not attack nor die).
+Stuff to yet do:
-death/black metal growls for certain sound files, lol.
-Find more monsters based on the Glest engine.
-Decide whether to include Glest music (including customs).
+Stuff currently in progress:
-Finish up Behemoth frames (will take quite a while).

to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work
to Remix — to adapt the work
to make commercial use of the work
Under the following conditions:
Attribution — You must attribute the work in the manner specified by the author or licensor (but not in any way that suggests that they endorse you or your use of the work).
Share Alike — If you alter, transform, or build upon this work, you may distribute the resulting work only under the same or similar license to this one.
So you MUST include full credit for the artist(s) behind Glest in a text file (or however they specify that you credit them; check readmes that came with the Glest stuff for more info), and you must license your own derivative in the same way they did, i.e. your work should be effectively considered CC-BY-SA 3.0 as well, meaning anybody else is free to use your resources in the same way as long as they do the same as you.
Problem resolved, I added in their license.txt in the .zip.
As for fun, I made my own Creative Commons license w/ a language to compel others to do the same, lol.
I don't know why the organization wants all to write this up. Is this like internet historians or something like that?
At the very least, the message board negates paralegal jeopardy.
On a day like this, it couldn't get any worse. I have (want to more likely) to scrap the Glest Monsters project. It was 2 ambitious for my current capabilities (I barely scratch the 3 dimensional modeling stuff). I am actually surprised that this topic got a lot of views, although it was hard effort to on my part to port 3d to 2d. However, I don't have exact measurements (error) so I am basically rolling a boulder uphill w/o proper equipment. I am requesting for this topic to be locked down + deleted. Thank you for reading this post message.
REQUEST FOR TOPIC DELETION PLZ. ONCE COMPLETED, I PLAN TO DELETE TOPIC CONTENT.
