Looks pretty good. The gun sprite in the last screenshot looks awesome, too.

Oh now this is some sweet shit. Just hard and jumpy enough to be a challenge but the jumpy parts don't feel arbitrary at all. And there's always something to be said about that single-barrel breechloader as the default weapon. :D

One complaint: if you're going to do an instakill event without any warning that it is an instakill event, please stick in an autosave shortly before that. x_x lol nvm the print voice is actually helpful and not just taunting you like in other maps

EDIT: So I ended up running away from the blue key boss and just plain cheated past the final. Both of them have waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many hitpoints...

I had no idea the void of hell was so cramped.

I've noticed that if you hang back a bit too much it's harder because a lot of the ammo appears in the middle of or right behind the encounter. Which I personally rather like, since it keeps you from just always channelling guys into narrow corridors and picking them off at leisure...

Call me crazy, but I love the colors of this mod. Very cool take on Hell. Weapons are neat, levels are wide enough to be able to move, but cramped enough for a challenge in certain spots... just the vibe of it is appealing. My only gripes would be how easy it is to run out of health (at least a 10 HP stimpack every few rooms would be nice) and the final boss choice (I'd rather see a high-powered Cyber-Demon than a monster based off another game, that's just me though). Other than those things, I enjoyed it!

Oh, and within a minute of playing, I realized the song in MAP01 is the MIDI version of Nine Inch Nails' "A Warm Place". Guess this mod combines all of my favorite things! :D

Found a bug. At the begining after first return to the starting courtyard when the cacodemons spawn, the better cacodemon (the one dripping lava - very nice idea btw) failed to spawn twice. And of course you cant continue if you dont kill him.

Just finished playing through it.

The good things:
The colors
The atmosphere
The level design was pretty well done
The weapon selection was pretty nice too

The bad things:
Could use a bit more healing lying around.

Overall I thought it was pretty good. Well worth a download.

Got a new version, with some bug fixes and more health
-new sky, no longer a skybox that inverts suddenly
-the portals no longer invert suddenly either
here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/file/ee7r17p8t ... llvoid.pk3

I'm about half way through the second level, and am planning:
-some new monsters
-SFX for the keys
-Possibly replacing the current secret level with a Foreverhood secret level
-Replacing the plasma cannon with one that is closer, in aesthetics, to the rest of the wad(I just need sounds)
-A new teleport fog, as well as a replacement for the teleport fire that appears on the teleport pads

In the spoiler are some screen shots of level two, enjoy!

It is very pretty, but if I was to play this for n extended period of time, I would have to increase brightness and contrast on my monitor (you project lacks both).

more progress on this wad may take a while as I'm making the transition from deepsea to Doombuilder.
Hopefully I won't take as long to get used to it as I did deepsea.

I've made some progress on non-map aspects as a result of said transition:
*New status bar coded(excluding code for the >100% gauges for health and armor If you could help, please send a pm)
*New teleport fX and Fog
*plasma cannon replaced
*several monsters fully sprited
*several monsters in the works

this progress doesn't warrant a new version imho, but here's a peek:
