Hellspawn preview

Hellspawn preview. I got sick of looking at it and no idea when I'll work on it again.

- See controls menu for keys.
- Intro is advanced with the USE key when text ends with -MORE-. Otherwise it skips the sequence.
- Logs can be read/advanced/exited with the USE key as well.
- Zooming is only available for the machine gun ATM.
- I intend to replace all the weapon graphics with my own for visual continuity purposes.
- Setting a claymore automatically changes your action to Detonate. If you wish you can cycle back to Set to place more claymores.
- Both the goggles and cloak suit are toggled effect. Using the action once activates the item, again deactivates.
- All equipment requires power to operate/use. You can collect batteries to increase your capacity, and recharge them at power terminals.

Finally. I can never keep up with any of the Hellspawn updates. The last one I had was a completely ancient version (4, I think). Finally, now I can update myself. Thanks and stuff!

And how the hell did you achieve that? I was said it's pretty impossible.

OMG, Lil' White Mouse made some switchable powerups.
I now believe We can make a toggle-able rad suit, when activated, the sector damage, wherever there is nukage is simply set to 0, deactivated the suit, the damage back to how it was!
Shit, I hope I'm not bubbling too much

I like what I see. I even did an all-weapons cheat and saw all your cool hacks - I didn't know the Wraithverge would make such an awesome BFG. Also, your aliases are just incredible - at 720x576 resolution, the Up-arrow default alias takes up two lines on the console. How do you manage to keep tabs on your code like that without confusing yourself?

I just blank out the screen if the player tries to zoom with a different weapon.

Enjay gets the credit here, I just modified his zooming alias' from Marine Assault.

Whoa, I saw some System Shock inspired stuff within the wad- like the blood sign "Resist" and... are those System Shock 2 textures?
Yes, I saw some. Some animating computers, a white wall...
Great job Mouse.

Help, I'm stuck at that chasm-like area with the broken bridge and the flying monster. I can't possibly jump that huge pit, and entering that area through the storage thingy, I'll get blown away by a harsh wind before I could even do anything, falling to my death.

I'm frustrated; anyone got past this?

FYI, this is the second time I'm stuck. The first time had me run in circles for hours figuring out how to get the red keycard; it wasn't obvious that I had to use the teleporter beacon to get to that door... :(

The wind isn't constant, it picks up and dies down. There's a visual clue to let you know when it's safe to pass.

Silly me!

Is it just me or... does the demon portal warp me back to the start of the level?

It does for now. I've only reworked the originals first level, and have yet to touch the second.
