You can get the latest acc.exe and support files here, you probably can't use the win version with WadAuthor:

For the latest zdoom.wcf file, I don't think there has been an "official" update for a while. I can send you mine which I think has most of the new stuff.

Cyb or Ultimate Doomer, do you guys have a zdoom.wcf file which is up to date? Thx.

http://doom.vect.org:8080/acs/zdoom2.wcf

that's my latest zdoom2 wcf file, includes most (if not all) of the new things, though I haven't updated any specials added since 1.23b33 which is the wcf that's based on

No, acc does work with WA. But, there are two versions for download and WA should use the "regular" one, not the "win" one.

I have a zheretic.wcf file I made and you can have it....email address?

Cyb, your zdoom2.wcf file is almost identical to my zdoom.wcf. You do have this which I didn't:

0x2357 13 10 bal7c0 Patrol special

You also have:

0x2378 17 16 plssa0 Skybox viewpoint

where I have:

0x2378 17 16 plssa0 Skybox viewpoint *( visibility, -, -, -, -)

You also had more scripted marine entries.

Also you had:

0x2374 13 16 bal7c0 Shootable Thing (angle is health)

One other thing your file did not have is the line special:

0x0b3 1 ChangeSkill( skill, -, -, -, - )

I'll zip my improved zdoom.wcf file and zheretic.wcf file together and put them here if case anyone wants them:

what's the visibility argument that skybox cameras take?

edit: nevermind, I just checked the editing tutorials, I didn't notice the argument description there the first time I read it

it assigns a number to that skybox so that you can use multiple skyboxes in a single level.

no that's the tag of the skybox :P

the argument is allowing the skybox to have its own r_visibility value

It contains improvements - stealth monsters and scripted marines have their own thing classes, some things have been renamed to make them easier to find and some redundant ones have been removed.

I've also thrown my ZDoom Heretic wcf in, but I think Biff's is slightly better.

while we're on this subject I added a couple specials to my wcf, does anybody know the arguments for thing_projectileaimed(), I know it takes four, but I'm not sure of the order (I assume tid, type, speed, gravity? or maybe one is who to fire it at?) and also what're the special number and args for thing_projectileintercept()? thanks

edit: just read the diffs, thing_projectileintercept is special 175 but I still don't know the proper args for it or thing_projectileaimed

I think I asked this on the old phorum; and while on the subject anyway, how the hell do the slope things work?

I don't get it :? or I'm too lazy to figure it out (although I did take a good 10 min. look at it). And I'm bad with lineid's too.

EDIT: OK, I get the "set floor/ceiling slope" (angle is direction) but the other ones are still a mystery.

EDIT2: I noticed how everyone's wcf has uneditable fileds for the slope things; so after I stuck a "*" in front of the "(" in the description, it worked 8-)
