Looks like that sprite is going to need to be reworked from the barrel on. Probably by "bending" it slightly the other way from the red/orange line. Trying to match the ideal angle is, due to human errors, still unlikely to match it - so you need to push it what seems like a little bit the other direction (and in doing so overcomes the visual illusion of straightness and actually makes it straight).

Its got a good muzzle flash (though I think it needs 2 frames not one, using this one as the "small" first frame).

Reason I say it needs to be reworked is that the "fixed" (flaccid) one is starting to look a little blurry due to graphics program antialiasing. So if you used the same "unfixed" one to bend it the other direction it will end up blurry just like the "fixed" one. Ive had problems with this kind of blurry before and using the sharpen tool just doesnt fix it. Its most noticeable on the vent holes.

Please dear gawd tell me you are not using the Liquify tool... I mean zOMG thats only useful on pron.

Actually the problem is the angle itself, it doesn't point to the center of the screen. Even if you managed to get it perfectly straight, it still would look odd. I pushed the sprite from the center. Baller went absolutely nuts, but the rest of the gun is now better aligned with the center of the hud.

Well sheeit, I got really bored... All of you have a plasma rifle with Heat Blast and Brutal Doomguy Gloves. I also uploaded the stuff that I used as a base, so if anyone wanna put normal Doomguy hands onto it, be my guest.

Wow shit ok I'm now done with my DOOM4 shotgun code and now need to hunker down and do the sprites for it, but that Plasma rifle's style is SO GOOD. I'm probably going to have to style stuff like that now....

Also yeah if you can get some more frames done(alt fire venting or something, but I'll make a basic plasma rifle anyway) on that I can turn it into a working gun with Alt Fires similar to DOOM4 or something else if you want.
(I'll need it uploaded in a wad or something to get the images uncompressed/unartifacted )

I photographed some 1911 shots for a mod I was going to make, but decided to can the weapon. Fair game to anyone who's interested as long as you give credits! Doom palette friendly. (Yes, the grips are supposed to be orange :P)

I'll do it if you want. would be good practice.
Also could you upload a wad or something so I could get as raw an image as possible. It doesn't look to bad but it is a bit blurred.
