Interesting. Do you happen to have a link to that?DoomRater wrote:I hear Bashe is starting a playthrough of a Super Metroid hack that just tries to connect the areas a bit more instead of giving us a custom story while also changing the physics up a bit to make it a bit easier to play. New breaks are possible because of this. It's also meant for people who have played Super Metroid at least once.

here's part 1.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Ah, I see you noticed. The creator of the hack happened to notice as well, and said it was one of the best he'd seen. That makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. :>
Definitely a great hack to try out if you've played Super Metroid and want to experience it in a unique and quite replayable way.

It looks pretty neat. I might give it a go at some point.

I checked the Doomworld site.
I'm afraid to tell you this, but i can't access the site.
It looks like, Doomworld is gone...
Nevermind. it's up.

Yup, the server's apparently shut down.

There's issues with the DNS change to the new server. Until it's fixed, use http://www.doom.world/ instead.
Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
That doesn't work, and Avast also freaked out when I clicked it, so that means it's blocking it. You sure it's safe?

Linguica owns it, so yes.

Started learning Unity today.
Don't worry, though, I'm not abandoning your asses for Fame And Fortune just yet. I'm just investigating my options for future non-Doom adventures...

Good luck, I started trying to learn it a few weeks ago and none of it's sinking in yet. Hopefully you'll find it easier than I did.
Anyone else watching Quakecon?

Let me know what you think! Ran through the basic tutorials myself, and I'm pretty impressed with the editor and feature set. Also like how much freedom there is, but having to implement all of it from scratch is a bit nerve wracking. :pKinsie wrote:Started learning Unity today.
