And what do you mean by 19MJ?
19 megajoules = about 10 pounds of TNT. That's a LOT of energy (the MythBusters show used 10 lbs of TNT to hurl a crash test dummy over 150 feet out of a sewer pipe with one end plugged. The impact ripped the dummy's left shin off, and dummies are much more durable than humans are). A lasgun is powerful enough; a bolter would be like the Redeemer from UT with rapid fire.
I dont think i'd be doing it too true to the 40k universe in terms of weapon strength and such,I'd have it more towards gameplay balance.

I would like to make an Update to the current status of the Warhammer 40k mod. I am working on an Experience Point system. For each kill you get exp points and when you get enough exp points you will level up or also thinking of making it so you have a rank instead of a level number. For each time you get a higher level or rank you will get either more heath, armor, ammo, and/or weapon. Post your Ideas, Suggestions, and Comments Here.

EDIT: Screenshots and also the acs for the exp is based off of SirTimberWolfs code back from the MMORPG. But I have made some of my own changes to it.

Hmmm....I suggest splitting the wads, in case we just want the weapons, or just the levels, hell, even just the monsters as well.

EDIT: Could I have a link to that RPG code or mod please?

I'll try to get that going after the main release.

And mouse could you make death animations,Just make them pretty simple,Have the Necron Warrior fall to the ground,Same with the pretty much non mechanical enemies like the wraith.Maybe make the Destroyer and such have a bit of explosion. And maybe make the Wraiths pain state shorter,He's quite easy to stop with rapid fire weapons.

I need to know something from everybody
Do you Scale Text in High Res?
What is your Screen Size?

I need to know these two things so I can properly set the Hud Messages for Experiance and other things.

I never intended the actors themselves to be used, just made them up to demonstrate the sprites.

No promises on the deaths, but I'll try and do them this week. I've been making headway with my own project (in 63a) so I'm currently busy with that.

There is still a lot of detail work and mapping ahead but I thought I would post these to show that this project is not dead.

I'm more impressed with every new shot you post, Wasted Youth. Those teleporter area shots are pretty nice. Good work.
