Brütal Doom v0.18
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
The skulltag weapons feel irrelevant now, not to mention they are also significantly unpolished compared to the other weapons. Also I am not a big fan of the plasma rifle's sound effect, gets quite annoying and doesn't really sound right. Otherwise this version is a massive improvement, I especially like the dodge roll ability, even though its a bit useless.

Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
This is the first thing I've picked up on while playing.
Spoiler:Not that it's that big of a deal (to me at least, since it doesn't look that bad), but I figured I'd point it out anyways.
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
Is there a way I can implement the Zombieman's voice from version 0.16 on to 0.17?
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
Looks and sounds good... I'll test it when the ZDoom version is out.
I'd to it on Zandronum, but it screws my computer after running it the first time, and I really don't wanna have to restart this thing now with all the stuff I'm in the middle of...
EDIT: Completely off-topic, but... the F-bomb filter here doesn't quite work as well as well as I thought it would've.

Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
I altered my copy to have more "classic" behavior (normal aggression, standard projectile speed, health, no triple shot for zombie, etc) and I will post the Zandronum version later if Mark doesn't mind. This version makes doing any video recording easier as you won't be killed as quickly from the onslaught of damage.
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
I have an honest question here... Where are all of the new weapons? O.o
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
The weapon pack will come later this month.

Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
just tried it i liked what i saw are you still considering on a nazi replacement alternative?
Re: Brütal Doom v0.17: Brutal Halloween Edition
I can say for one that the cockroach/chicken head shot death animation is still in version 17. Also noticed a neat lil glitch when you start a level you have godmode for a few seconds hehe. Pretty useful IMHO.
Loving the imp headshot death when part of his head gets blown off. Will play more tomorrow its late now. Once again awesome mod loving it.

Hmm.. It doesn't sound like a glitch, more of a feature. Perhaps it gives you more of a chance when you're playing on level which surrounds you with enemies at the start.Dan50 wrote:Also noticed a neat lil glitch when you start a level you have godmode for a few seconds hehe. Pretty useful IMHO.

Assuming you're referring to the barrel, you'll have to adjust your sprite clipping in the options to fix this.Doom'd Marine wrote:This is the first thing I've picked up on while playing.

BD Facebook wrote: Ok guys, Now I can confirm a more precise number of weapons:
11 melee weapons
4 handguns
2 handcannons
4 assault rifles
4 shotguns
3 rocket launchers
2 machineguns
2 flame guns
5 energy/plasma guns
4 bfgs
5 throwables (grenades, molotovs, etc)
3 monster weapons (MP40, Revenant Launcher and Mancubus Cannon)
So, we might have around 50 weapons confirmed so far. 8 weapons are finished so far. The first test version will come up when we get at least 25 weapons done.
