This could do as either weapon sound replacements, or as sounds for weapons in the Brutal Arsenal.

The credits screen still shows version 0.12, I assume it will need a recreation due to extra credits.

Wow pretty hight position. :)

More bugs found.

- Pinky dont hit when crouch.
- Revenant non-guided missile doesn't knockback Imp, Rifle Zombie and Shotgun Zombie.
- Rifle Zombie doesn't burn from Imp fireball, like Shotgun Zombie and Chaingun Zombie.
- Trees start burn very easily from fire projectiles. (I dont know is this bug or purpose.)
- Mancubus doesn't turn when Mancubus is shooting.
- Pump Shotgun have iron sight problem. This happen when you have 0 pocket ammo and you reload Pump Shotgun, then you pickup shotgun ammo, it start immediality reload. Seems like it try reload but cant because you dont have ammo and thats why iron sight bugged.

Mmm... Tasty. (In the interests of fairness, warning also issued in regards to this post, in light of the unfortunate discussion it spawned...)

Who is this idiot who wrote the text in the link above? A lot of those "opinions" aren't a entirely valid in regards to BD, some are just blatant exaggerations of what's there. It's sad that there's not even a name on this, like this person doesn't have the guts to stand by their opinion, regardless if it's unpopular.

Lol, some of the things in that txt file are really poor arguments.

>mortal kombat finishers that interrupt the action and consist of hideous sprite edits with broken cameras
>penalized if you don't use said finishers

One is not forced to use them, there's always smash mode and you aren't penalized if you don't use them.

>taunts that make Donte seem like a skilled linguist
Another optional feature (I also don't really like them, so I don't use them).

>weapons that aren't the shotgun or the rifle are worthless
BS. The rocket launcher and plasma gun are extremely useful.

>enemy weapons (mancubus cannon, revenant launchers, and SS mp40) are OP as fuck
Uhhh okay... to me they are weak and useless to such a degree, that I never use them.. lol

Yeah... a lot of that is bullshit, but I assume that's the point of you posting it.

Edit: frankly, this seems like one of those idiots who bashes the mod just because it changes up the gameplay in any way. What the fuck kind of mindset is that? Better yet, why are people with this attitude bashing BD in particular, when just about every mod ever which isn't a graphic replacer or map set has the same "problems"?

First, you should maybe post else where on the forums. Blox is mostly in the Resource thread. Second, Blox only posted his opinion.

I don't like Brutal Doom either, I used to. But now-a-days, I prefer to see the mod die a horrible death. Why? because if someone isn't playing Brutal Doom, they're lame. If a mod isn't like Brutal Doom, it's lame. If a mod isn't tailored to Brual Doom, or have 'Brutal' in the name, again, it's lame. This is what I am seeing from this community. This particular fanbase community about this mod. Other people can't get their own mods out and known because nearly everyone and their mothers are playing Brutal Doom.. and honestly, it doesn't bring anything in terms of true content to the table. Just graphical death scenes and things that has been done before. Just brought up to 11, and it's "awesome" because of that sole reason.

However, if you prefer to only play Brutal Doom, sure. Go ahead, but don't call someone a troll because they said that they don't like the mod. The only thing that both you, BlueFireZ88 and southpark2010 has showed us is that you're quick to insult a fellow Doomer for voicing his opinion, and thus, start to show what this one particular fanbase for Brutal Doom really is about.

Now, end it here before a mod ends it.

Not blaming you, Vaecrius. But I hate it when members of this ZDoom Community start to jump at each others throats because they said "I dun like brutal doom". It's like dropping fresh meat into a tank of piranhas.

I'm not even sure Blox originally wrote the text. He could easily have been quoting it from somewhere, which is the assumption that BlueFire's post was operating under. The "who is this idiot?" question was never directed at Blox.

[EDIT] I'm still confused as to whether I should type "Bloax" instead, even though it's spelled different here. INCONSISTENCIES D:

slowed playerspeed
The player movement speed in Brutal Doom is reduced by 10%, and this is enough to make a deal of it?
iron sights
mortal kombat finishers that interrupt the action and consist of hideous sprite edits with broken cameras
penalized if you don't use said finishers
taunts that make Donte seem like a skilled linguist
Don't this asshole notice that these are optional features and you can perfectly play the game without them?
disgusting "hi-res" texture replacements
overall awful sounds
Said features are not even present anymore.
poorly made, most features make use of absurd scripting hacks and there's a ton of errors when loading the mod
penalized if you don't use said finishers
spectres are completely invisible
I don't think this guy has any clue of what he is talking about.

I think you don't know the difference between people that dont play Brutal Doom, and people that bash Brutal Doom without any valid arguments like the retard above that can't even justify his points or hates the mod for optional things, or things that even doesn't exist anymore. Me, for example, I don't like MM8DM, I actually HATE MM8DM, but I don't bash it, I don't TALK about it, I pretend it NEVER EXISTED. Am I asking much for the Brutal Doom hatters to do the same thing?

Brutal Doom doesn't brings anything into the table, oh yeah, maybe you are right. Maybe the new gameplay that has been balanced for 2 fucking years (compared to the original Doom 2 gameplay, that has been tested for a few weeks, I think 2 years is nothing), that even manages to fix some vanilla doom bugs, doesn't brings anything new. Yeah! You are right!
Oh, so, nobody else can make a mod popular just because Brutal Doom has overtaken the modding scene? Look dude, just because you, or somebody else lacks the skill, competence, and community support to make a good gameplay mod, it's not Brutal Doom's fault. It's not Brutal Doom's Fanbase fault, It's not MY fault. OH WAIT, what about Samsara, Real Guns, Super Skulltag, Mercenaries, Nazis!, Terrorists!, Tiberium Doom, Armed Recruit, Parkour, and all other currently popular mods? Maybe they just doesn't exists at all, they are just my imagination, because by your logic, Brutal Doom destroyed anything, and it's impossible to make such mods exist, right?
