Nah. It's this. I would release it now, but there's a bug; if you have exactly 1 large ammo pickup's worth of ammo left, no more, and you tell the bot to store it, any weapon using the ammo becomes unselectable FOREVER. Even if you pick up more ammo/retrieve the ammo you stored.

Taking the advice of a forum goer here I went and got myself GZBuilder. I've slowly been slapping some maps together and learning how to use the features of GZDoom and ACS in the process.

Here is a re-do of that library from before

Plus I wanted to make a mission that had both "search and rescue" and "search and destroy" objectives and I couldn't really think of anything else.

Or we could just pretend that this is a smart, sadistic demon who imprisons his targets before killing them. Iunno. :p

This looks interesting, can't wait to see the next version of this. I used to play this quite extensively some years ago, one of the few mods that actually have a working molotov cocktail in it. :D Is that remaining in the mod still?

Of course! It's one of the 4 grenade types. (Frag grenade, gas grenade, cluster bomb, and molotov cocktail.)

You can actually download the latest alpha if you wanna try it out. http://zandronum.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=272

You'll need Zandronum, skulltag_actors.pk3, skulltag_data.pk3, and sst_v1.4rc3.pk3 though. Sorry about all the files, I just figured it would be easier to keep filesize to a minimum if I only include what's 100% necessary for Mercenaries and just include the rest via DECORATE inheritance. :P

Just don't give enough time for the player to analyze the absurdity of the situation. Short briefing. "Demons have kidnapped a scientist! Are you bad enough marine to rescue Doctor Raphael?"

I'm working on maps for the ECWolf tech demo but have run into a hitch--the third plane seems to be broken. If a certain ceiling texture appears paired with multiple floor textures, only one pair will be visible (or vice versa).

Spoiler:

Solid red is an empty ceiling and solid blue is an empty floor.

In the future can you please shrink your screenshots to something more manageable (say, 640x480 or so)? Even if I open the spoiler I only see half of the screen until I click View Image from the right-click menu.
