Doom's blood decals?

This could very well be the retarded question to end all retarded questions, but where are the decals for blood splats stored? I'm just talking about the decals that pop up when you hit an enemy that's nearby a wall. I've looked and the looked in the wad file and can't find them anywhere.

They're in zdoom.pk3. Doom did not have decals. They are added by ZDoom.
