community project idea: maps for ww-nazis

Discuss anything ZDoom-related that doesn't fall into one of the other categories.

I think we had all (for wildweasel's sake anyways) try to get back to what his original post was talking about and skip all the frivolous suggestions.

I just played WW-Nazis with Epic2 and I must say that Wildweasel has done an excellent job. Not only has he made better weapons, but also managed to "maintain" a terrific sense of nostalgia very true to the original Wolfenstein.

Lets get one thing strait... This resource pack deserves some good fresh levels to go along with it.

I would be honored to be allowed to contribute to this project, lets drop the nay-sayers, and the n'er-do-goods and get to work! :D

I guess when all is said and done, I am the only one willing to commit to this project?

I'd rather this be something that is cool in its own way, rather than leeching off the success of others.

Here is a texture pack I compiled for this project.

This is just a basic pack... We can adjust as time progresses.

Comments (nice ones) will be much appreciated!

I'll work on having many variants of the guards to fit different areas. They won't act any differently from the existing Korps and SS, though.

By the way, Dos, good work with the texture pack. Seems like there's lots of good variations to work with.

I guess I need to update the textures in my map now. :P

I'll download this later.

Thanks for the "thumbs up" WildWeasel.

Many of the textures are from the Wolfendoom wads you suggested, as well as a few I made/modified.

If WildWeasel says its ok, I can start a project thread for this with some screenshots?
