For non-smooth scaling, it seems that RotSprite
STILL does a good job. (This surely is going to be useful to know, I can guess)
Here's a comparison:
Nearest neighbor (Stupid pixel scaling, fails at non "full" scales, eg. Does fine 200%, 300%, but not 150%.)
And next up, we have rotsprite. Take a good look at the exaggerated veins and basically the spot around the glove's start.
The detail is preserved! Woo!
There's also the added bonus of being able to rotate the sprite nicely, which is a big thing actually.
Edit: Forgot to mention that both were scaled down to 80% of the original size, which is not
a good scale for nearest.
