I would pitch in myself if I had a base resource file to work with that had the textures and monsters in it already.

The monsters are already available (ww-nazis itself) but textures have not been assembled yet.

I'm probably going to assemble a quick map more or less soonish for that, to see if it meets sufficient quality standards :p

I've never played ww-nazis before, which isn't a surprize if you ask me. I've never played 95% of the mods released here on the forum, since they usually don't come with their own mapsets. But the fact that this mod is getting its own mapset is very interesting. It's like the maps give me a reason to play the mod.

I wish I can contribute to this but I'm a useless crud. :p

All in all I'm looking forward to this.

I'm a little busy right now, but I'd really love to map for MAP01... I have quite an experience of making damp Wolf3d level 1 purple/gray underground caves.

But don't slot me now.

I could imagine myself making a map for this. The theme is so simple, yet it would be fun to try to make it as interesting as possible

What mapstyle do you plan on using?Old school Wolf-3d or something more like Laz-Rojas' wolfendoom TC's?

I was planning on having it vary between levels. They don't need to go together seamlessly or anything.

I like this idea, I have been playing your mod and using Laz's maps. I'm trying to play through Totenhaus right now.

I'd really like to try something for this. It might get me past my current mappers block. Unfortunately, a knackered arm at present is restricting me to very short editing sessions and having to use my controls right-handed (I'm left handed) which makes almost everything other than the simplest of tasks incredibly frustrating. :?

http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/file ... -addon.pk3

This is a small add-on pack for ww-nazis. It must be loaded after ww-nazis.pk3.

Changes:
  • There is a new playable class, Weasel (Enfield), which starts you with a Lee-Enfield SMLE rifle instead of a revolver. The SMLE has a ten-shot magazine, is bolt-action, and takes the same ammo as the Gewehr 43 so that there doesn't need to be another ammo type.
  • Another new weapon, the Fallschirmjagergewehr 42 (FG 42). It is dropped by the Paratroopers instead of the StG 44, takes the Mauser ammo, fires extremely fast and has insane recoil, but is the second most powerful full-auto weapon outside of the UMG 43. Be really careful with the ammo usage on this thing. It is not omnipotent.
  • Includes a small replacement for the Paratroopers so that they now drop their own weapons instead of StGs.

That's about it!

The new weapons are fun to use, however the Lee-Enfield doesn't alert enemies.
