I've already done it. My personal mod implements a lives system, though by default it's only active for co-op. It's also per level: it starts you off with a base number of lives plus a variable amount depending on how many monsters there are on that level. If all players run out of lives it restarts the level. If you run out of lives before the other players it just kills you whenever you respawn. There's also respawn death forgiveness (e.g. if you die very quickly after respawning, maybe a cyberdemon got into the start location, it doesn't count against you.)Ryan Cordell wrote:You could fake it via ACS.
