Some function that makes it possible to rotate textures on walls ingame would be awesome. Right now there is nothing you can do that comes close to the possibility of rotating textures like in build engine games. Is something like this possible? At least it already works with floors.

You can use the TEXTURES lump to rotate textures. Unfortunately, at present, it's only by multiples of 90 degrees.

And the reason for that is that the wall drawing code can't do rotations. It is strictly limited to vertical columns.

Ask Randy. I would have implemented such things long ago if I could make even remotely sense of the software renderer.
