(Apologies for the horrible hackiness of this .WAD)
This map features a rotating polyobject with changing textures as a special effect right near the start. This used to work quite happily but it seems that the improved polyobject behaviour in the current official release of ZDoom doesn't like this. Basically what I get is ZDoom becoming completely unresponsive on map load-up (not always instant, but within a few seconds). Top left corner has a message which reads:
"SELECTVERTEXCLOSE SELECTED ENDPOINT OF SEG 20"
I'm not sure if I was exploiting some flaw in the old behaviour, or if this is even related to the polyobject at all - it is however the only particularly out-of-the-ordinary part of the map. If this isn't a bug and is instead some flaw with the map I'll be glad for any advice on how to fix it.

Seems to be a duplicate of this. Same cause (rotating polyobject), same error condition (see Graf's second post in the linked thread).
