[r1859]Skybox camera moves with player
I've seen this small bug now where the skybox camera is actually moving with the player instead of holding still. I was playing Invasion UAC which has the skycamera or whatever the entity is called, and now whenever the player moves, the camera follows his movement too.

Are you sure? I've tried a few maps with skybox cameras and I can't see any obvious difference.

Yup. 100% positive. I've tested it without GZdoom and the skybox camera moves exactly how the player moves. That means if the player goes lower than the floor of the skybox camera, it'll go underground too.

Works for me, too. I suspect user error.

You should provide a map, not a screenshot from a map.

*scratches back of head* It was working fine, no big deal until I upgraded today... From 17xx to 1859...
Map 02. Edit: okay it didn't appear on map03... Apparently it just must mean it's outdated now compared to Zdoom.

A few pointers:
Second, the skybox works fine. It's the horizon special in GZDoom that aparently got broken by a recent change.
So next time before you send everyone on a wild goose chase please make some minor investigations yourself. You could have found out the real problem simply by looking at the map in an editor.
It's really great that you hide that small but important fact so that most people just missed itMajor Cooke (in a follow-up post) wrote:GZdoom
