About BD Black Edition and content theft [split from D4D]

I'm a bit disappointed. Not because of this mod and it's great features, but do you guys allow others to use your D4D content for other mods?

Because this guy took your glory kill system (the highlighting of the the enemy, and the shader file) without crediting you guys. Checked the README file, nope.

He means about the shader code to make the nice effect of glory kill highlight, D4D had its own shader code for that, and some random brutal doom fanboy "modder wannabe" stole it (since he didn't credit nobody for that) to use in that "BD Black Edition".

About the bullet tracers, i am the true owner of that model and the texture belongs to Doom 3, as i am kinda tired to say that Mark started his mod using resources from my first project as base.

As for Brutal Doom Black Edition... looks like the author merely forgot to include D4D in the credits. I see that DBT got on his case for that, and the author apologized.

If someone on this thread is russian and his sprites, scripts or other content was stolen - contact with this faggots. Sorry for being rude. But such cases are quite frequent in the Russian mod-community, and often "thief" is unpunished and continues to gain popularity at the expense of someone else's content. Damn, I think I start to understand why people do not like Brutal Doom.

Thank you for clearing that stuff out, WildWeasel. To be completely honest, I don't even know why he was calling for a lock to begin with, but nothing was happening here that really warranted it aside him just probably hitting the report button.

Oh well. Anyway, we'll see if Blackmore responds or not. If he doesn't, I'll consider reporting it.
