Just open up the WADs with SLADE and take what you need.

I wish it were that simple. I've done that already with the Nashgore wad and it worked out quite nicely. The problem is with Brutal Doom aprrently those wall decal effects are stored on Quake III model pack files, at least from my observations. I could be wrong on where they are actually located, and I would like to be sure given I'm probably not the only one who's looked at the files for BD.

Where can I find ReDoom? I can't seem to find it anywhere. It sounds kind of interesting to try out.

http://files.drdteam.org/index.php/file ... -redoom.7z - Here's the last version I have of my own ReDoom mod - I guess Kinsie also named a mod ReDoom; I don't have that one though...

Unfortunately I don't have it, and also Footman pulled all the links to it after a rather sour argument about ripped resources and copyright infringement and such, so unless somebody here still has it, you might be out of luck.

I'll update it eventually! Just gotta find a suitable plasma rifle and BFG9000 replacement graphics that I really like and then shoot for multiplayer compatibility.

Ok, I finally finished my own enhancement wad. This isn't the same as the one in the first post. That was still a WIP.

Let me know what you think. Suggestions, complaints, comments, bugs/issues, etc.

It is that simple. Just copy over the models, and take a look at the MODELDEF lump to see what path they should be located in and which actors they reference.
Edit: also, the DECALDEF lump.

A little late for this info I'm afraid. Sergeant_Mark_IV (Creator of BrutalDoom) already gave me the info I needed on another thread. Thanks for trying though. Now go check out the results of my work. A couple of posts back.

I'm surprised nobody has made a "Natural Doom Enhancement" joke yet.

ReDoom and Brutal Doom and my two favorite enhancement mods right now. Beautiful Doom is up there too, I wish I was able to combine them. :P My ideal mod would be the weapons of GZDoom Advanced: http://forum.medpackstudios.com/viewtop ... =261&t=326 (Eriance's models) with Brutal Doom, with the sounds of ReDoom/Beautiful Doom.
