Re: BASSMIDI Soundfont Compatible MIDI Synth Driver: WXP/Vis
I've downloaded the 3.1 and 3.2 versions of this and I'm having problems with the MIDI music in Doom skipping or fading out with this. Mostly when a lot of notes are being played at one time (like guitar riffs). Is there anyway to fix this?
Re: BASSMIDI Soundfont Compatible MIDI Synth Driver: WXP/Vis
The newest version (3.18) of the BASSMIDI Driver includes a "buffer" slider setting that just might help with this problem. Otherwise, post a message over at http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/ind ... opic=87639 ... Kode54 and MudLord frequently visit that message threadFlynn Taggart wrote:I've downloaded the 3.1 and 3.2 versions of this and I'm having problems with the MIDI music in Doom skipping or fading out with this. You can't open Avast and tell it to exit?Saya-chan wrote:oh cool. I'm trying to update it but it asks me AGAIN to close avast! (something which I can't actually do since even an elevated task manager tells me I can't close the "AvastUI.exe" process)
If not, boot into Safe Mode and disable it for now.

Just a heads up... version 3.19 of the BASSMIDI Driver is now available. Added is a new slider in the BMD config utility for the DirectSound buffer, which seems to elliminate the stutters (slide to the right for a higher DS buffer).
