Marathon terminals?
I remember some time ago Setzer made some marathon like terminals but I never got to take a look at them. Anyone still have this?

Try PMing him. And then PM me with it. I'd like to see it as well. :]

I would PM him but he's never really here... But I guess I should try.

I know exactly the WAD you mean and I've downloaded it a few times but I can't find it on mny HD.

It's close enough for me. Thanks.
Re: Marathon terminals?
It's certainly the one that I was thinking of. Thanks.

Whoa, I already had it? It was in my incoming folder.
Re: Marathon terminals?
I apologize for my late arrival. It was... traffic. I swear.
It's good to see some interest! I actually took the liberty of revising the script a week ago, so here's an updated version for all interested. Somehow it slipped my sensors that occasionally in Marathon, terminal sign-on and sign-off scripts were not identical. A minor fix, but essential for maximum compatibility.
I'm suddenly curious. What have you planned for us, Joe?

Uhh... Nothing... Really.Setzer wrote:I'm suddenly curious. What have you planned for us, Joe?

Well okay, I just wanted to see how they worked, but I was sorta thinking about using them for something.
By the way, I noticed both these terminals were the variety with pictures. How would one go about making the plain text variety seen in M1?
Re: Marathon terminals?
In marathon, some terminals could teleport you out if you went all the way through them without escaping... I've noticed that escape still brings up the menus and doesn't exit terminals. Any thoughts on how you would solve this problem? Because some times you didn't want to exit the map when you got to the exit terminal....
