Overall: Project Slipgate.

Concept: Tie between Portal Gun and Marine Assault

Sorta trying to avoid naming anything with unavoidable cutscenes...

Too difficult to decide for me. I've played loads and loads of wads, and quite a few have struck me as very good, or even flat out awesome. The one that's most recently impressed me was farlowj's Fanboy for ZPack, as it's got some of the best use of ACS I've ever seen, coupled with highly impressive visuals and quite advanced gameplay.

Super Sonic Doom ranks high with me. The levels are huge, the worlds are vivid, there is an on going story, the boss fights are cool, and there is some fine scripting for the time it was made.

Dunno, I'll be boring and say KDIZD. I can't really think of anything that stands out at me at the moment, although the Requim, Alien Vendetta, Scythe2 and Community Chest 2 megawads are favourites of mine, especially for Survival!

The "ZDoom Community Project - Take 1" was one of the nicest maps I've ever played.

Not to forget that there's a combat between "Torment and Torture - Lost Episode *Fury of Fire*", "Torment and Torture - Second Episode *Armory of Pain*" and "Torment and Torture - Episode three - *Damnation's Keep*" in my nicest WADs list ;) I can't decide. I like all three ;)

[EDIT]
Oh, and my favourite GZDoom compatible are "Austerity", Enjay's "Thief - Trail of the Arch Heretic", "Sapphire - Orbital Research Station", "Operation Overlord" and "The Ghoul's forest" (every forest, I just love the series :)):D

I always thought Claustrophobia was pretty cool.

I played many WADs and don't particularly have a best WAD. I guess one of the WADs that best striked me was 3057hub1.wad. Though it was a demo, it showed many new features I never seen before. I enjoyed every bit of the wad.

I also mentioned this because nobody mentioned it.

Concept - Cyberdreams

Gameplay - Alien Vendetta

Jokewad - WORSTHUB.

Just Because - Runaway Train. If I hadn't played it I wouldn't be here.

KDIZD is one of the best ZDoom Wads ever made in my entire experience with Doom.

BTW, 3057 keeps giving me Pistol already defined error, any ideas?

You know, I'm surprised no one has mentioned Zen Dynamics. It really stood out to me. The presentation was great, the gameplay challenging, and of course, the Hell's Batteries made it all the better. Where is Xaser these days, anyway? I miss him. and Eriance, too!
