Having GZDoom support the G-15 Logitech gaming keyboard. I heard Skulltag does.. ;P

as this is being developed...

...i thought it could be very useful in (g)zdoom RTS mod, especially if combined with zterrain. isometric perspective (because characters would remain bitmaps, too CPU-intensive otherwise) with 90 degree pre-set rotation as default setting (albeit smooth 360 degree rotation possible but NO top-down view or otherwise up-down mouselook, for obvious reasons), large, open-air environments but also interiors of bases, for example. think of it as a DOOM version of the original Dungeon Keeper game but not as claustrophobic.

Re: ZDoom project ideas you have
G15 support in games is kind of pointless, I think - I actually own a G15 but I think it's pretty redundant to just have the same information on the LCD panel that you can see on the screen. If G/ZDoom ends up getting G15 support I'd expect something similar to SBARINFO to dictate what should be displayed on the screen.Blade Nightflame wrote:Having GZDoom support the G-15 Logitech gaming keyboard. Novelty? I'm actually surprised it already doesn't.
Also Dual Analog gamepads are supported. Just remember to turn them on. I've used them in the past even though I don't like them.

ZDuke Nukem 3D - Port of Duke Nukem 3D for ZDoom.
I have no editing skills, but I know this is completely possable.

It's certainly possible, but nobody wants to do it.Nomekop wrote:I have no editing skills, but I know this is completely possable.
Re: ZDoom project ideas you have
imo it's quite pointless, seeing all these duke3d ports already in existence. we'd probably end up with something like ZBlood, that is, cut, "doomed-down" version of a build engine game.
edit: there was a collection of a console port exclusive levels called "consoledoom", i think you can get it off idgames. imo it'd be very nice to make some revamped version of it, that is, complete with unique weapons/sounds/hud for each set of levels (psx doom, d64, etc). the original had just the levels without respective enemy replacements even.

Actually, I don't think the tanks could have their self destruct button useable.
